Renowned Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has firmly dismissed claims suggesting an NPP parliamentary aspirant is the "incoming" Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, making it clear that the seat still belongs to John Dumelo.
Reacting to a social media post that described the NPP aspirant as the constituency's next MP, Nana Aba fired back with a strongly worded response:
"Incoming hwan? Where? My constituency? Daabi da. Ɛnfa. It is @johndumelo until he says he won't run again… even that we will chain him to the seat."
Her response quickly went viral, with many social media users praising her unwavering support for John Dumelo, who currently represents the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Parliament. Others, however, argued that political contests should be decided at the ballot box rather than through online exchanges.

The exchange comes after an NPP parliamentary aspirant's campaign post sparked debate by referring to himself as the constituency's "incoming" MP. Nana Aba's reaction has since fueled fresh political discussions ahead of the next parliamentary election, with supporters from both the NDC and NPP weighing in on the issue.
While the political banter continues online, Nana Aba's message leaves little doubt about where her support lies—maintaining that John Dumelo remains the MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon and will continue to have her backing for as long as he chooses to serve.
